This photo – taken in the university town of Tübingen in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg – shows a detail from a fifteenth-century building used to store tithes for an abbey (Bebenhausen) located just outside the town. Grain was brought in through the three-storey dormer protruding from the large roof.
