One of the most advanced aquariums in the world, Poema del Mar in the port district of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria opened in December 2017. It really does leave the best till last, the tank in the final room featuring the world’s largest curved glass panel (36 metres wide, 7.35 metres high and 39 centimetres thick).
