Still functioning to this day, the astronomical clock at Hampton Court Palace was installed in 1540 and tells you the hour, day, month, phases of the moon and its age in the month, signs of the zodiac, (pre-Copernican) movement of the sun and time of high tide at London Bridge (worth knowing in Tudor times when arriving by barge).
