When you take the tram to Zurich airport, as I have been doing regularly over the past few months, you are confronted with the above sign, reading Airport Center.
This sign really annoys me.
First, we know it’s an airport, so the first word is redundant.
Second, airports don’t have centres, so there’s no point in the second word either.
Ultimately, my time is wasted reading a sign that – apart from supplying material for this post – serves no purpose whatsoever.
